I found this video of Michael Wesch from the TED series of lectures. It discusses how internet and technology are used by college students and how it affects them. Being a college student, I found a lot of truth in the different points discussed in the lecture. One of the quotes he used to explain his theory was from Neil Postman's book Amusing Ourselves to Death. I read this book last semester for a Communications class. Although Postman published this quote before the internet was necessity for college students, it still holds relevance to the culture of college students.
